Jordan is a data professional with deep roots in database administration. He began his career working with MS SQL Server as a DBA in the automotive industry. After that, he moved to the consulting world, quickly working his way up to a Sr. DBA Consultant and helping many clients in various fields such as healthcare, finance, software, and many more. Jordan enjoys rolling up his sleeves and diving deep into SQL Server internals to really understand how things work.
Beyond working with SQL Server, Jordan also enjoys expanding his skillset beyond database administration. Now a Sr. Data Platform Engineer, Jordan applies his DBA mindset to automation, data platform engineering, and infrastructure as code, focusing on reliability, performance, and eliminating repetitive work.
When Jordan has free time, he enjoys blogging, attending training courses, and most of all, spending time with his wife.
